Course introduction - Advanced Chinese

Based on the authoritative Chinese textbooks designated by the Ministry of education of China, the course is especially developed for ethnic Chinese kids with a strong foundation in Chinese. It synchronizes with the Chinese courses of primary school in China and is committed to helping overseas students reach the same Chinese level of their peers in China. With the immersive, Scenario-based, and interactive teaching method, we love to combine education with entertainment, aiming to develop the way of thinking in Chinese, thus improve overall Chinese skills steadily, including Characters writing, reading, articles writing, oral communication, etc. The whole course is divided into 6 levels, 12 volumes in total.

Write basic Chinese characters, master Chinese Pinyin, grasp basic Chinese reading skills, cultivate interest in the language and article writing.

Level 1 & 2

Reading comprehension method learning, be able to feel and experience the emotions and thoughts expressed in the article. Writing skills training, master the basic rhetorical devices, can clearly and accurately express what they see and feel, and then form into short essay.

Level 3 & 4

Master the skills of skimming and speed reading, could read and appreciate medium-length literary works independently. Be able to write full-length compositions, using multiple literary forms and writing skills to express the real emotions. Could give speeches and tell stories fluently and vividly.

COURSE CONTENT

Content：

The advanced Chinese course aims to improve students' integrated language ability of Characters writing, reading, articles writing and oral communication. Firstly, a comprehensive evaluation will be arranged for every learner, and then a personalized learning plan will be customized accordingly to meet the unique learning needs.

Goals：

Be acquainted with article skimming skills, reading comprehension methods, could independently read and appreciate medium-sized literary works, feel and experience the emotions and thoughts expressed in the article.
