Development path

Jul 2005

In 2005, Ms. Zhang Zhiyun served as the first batch of Confucius Institute volunteers to South Korea for a two-year Chinese teaching volunteer service.

Jul 2008

In 2008, Ms. Zhang Zhiyun participated in the Chinese training program for foreign volunteers of the Beijing Olympic Games, during which, she deeply felt the passion for Chinese of foreign friends and the lack of Chinese teaching service at that time.

Aug 2009

In 2009, Ms. Zhang Zhiyun resigned from the middle school and devoted herself to Chinese teaching in a language institution, specializing in teaching Chinese to overseas students in China.

Jul 2015

In 2015, “Chinese fever” heating up, Ms. Zhang Zhiyun decided to go abroad to learn more about overseas learners. She felt sorry that overseas Chinese kids lacked of Chinese education and local Chinese schools couldn’t meet the needs of Chinese learners.

Aug 2016

In August 2016, Ms. Zhang Zhiyun returned to Beijing and founded Fuzizhongwen with friends, hoping to use local highly-qualified teachers to help overseas Chinese learners.

Sep 2016

In September 2016, the 1V1 online Chinese learning platform of Fuzizhongwen was officially launched and received lots of good comments from students.

Jul 2017

In 2017, Fuzizhongwen continued to make breakthroughs and improvements in technique and service, and the number of learners exceeded 1,000.

May 2019

In 2019, Fuzizhongwen has served a total amount of 10,000 learners.
